Request to handle the case of a 6th grade female student being beaten in Thuong Tin

The Department of Education and Training of Thuong Tin district requested that the school immediately establish a Disciplinary Council and temporarily suspend the students involved in the incident for at least 1 week to review their attitudes and behaviors. The school immediately coordinated with the authorities and families to clarify the matter.

After the official conclusion of the investigation agency, Thuong Tin Department of Education and Training will continue to guide and direct Tan Minh Secondary School to take appropriate and correct handling measures.

The People's Committee of Thuong Tin District requested Tan Minh Secondary School to visit, encourage and stabilize LTN's spirit; take measures to stabilize the psychology of teachers and students so as not to affect teaching and learning activities. The school continues to coordinate with the Commune Police to investigate the incident to find a suitable solution and handling to ensure both educational and deterrent effects; at the same time, thoroughly instruct teachers to take measures to manage students, not to let school violence recur in the school.

Sectors and organizations increased coordination in moral education for students, ensuring school security and safety.

The Department of Education and Training of Thuong Tin district actively coordinated with the district police and the People's Committee of Tan Minh commune to direct Tan Minh Secondary School to thoroughly handle the incident; sent documents to schools in the area, requesting measures to propagate and educate students, promptly prevent similar phenomena from happening; directed Tan Minh Secondary School to ensure teaching and learning, not letting the incident affect the school's teaching and learning activities.

The district's Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs coordinates with the Department of Education and Training and the school to visit, encourage and stabilize the spirit of students; at the same time, coordinate with the Department of Education and Training to guide and propagate about the work of preventing school violence and propagating about Children's Rights for schools.

Previously, according to the report of the Department of Education and Training of Thuong Tin district, at 4:45 p.m. on November 10, in the hallway of class 6D, Tan Minh Secondary School, Thuong Tin district, Hanoi, student LTN (student of class 6D) was beaten by 4 students: BTU, LHBA, BHL, NMU. Of these 4 students, 3 are studying at Tan Minh Secondary School and 1 has finished grade 9 in the 2022-2023 school year.

After receiving the information, the school's Board of Directors assigned the homeroom teacher of class 6D to coordinate with the family to take LTN to the Agricultural Hospital I for examination. According to the hospital's conclusion, N's health condition was not serious and he was discharged immediately.

In order to promptly stabilize the situation and thoroughly handle the incident, the Department of Education and Training of Thuong Tin district directly went to work with the school, criticized and disciplined the school's Board of Directors for not promptly reporting the incident to have direction for early resolution.
