Kim Lien Commune cares about the lives of victims of Agent Orange/dioxin

In the new term, the Kim Lien Association of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims strives to be a strong organization every year and to successfully complete its tasks. Mobilize resources to supplement the association's fund and organize activities to care for members. Continue to propose issuing certificates of resistance fighters exposed to toxic chemicals to ensure members' rights. Strengthen propaganda and mobilize members and families of victims to be exemplary, united, and loyal, and to properly implement the Party and State's policies and guidelines.

Kim Luong is a commune merged from two communes Kim Lien and Kim Khe. The whole commune has 40 direct victims, 13 indirect victims. During the last term, the whole commune had 253 members receiving gifts from units, organizations, and benefactors. The association coordinated to support the construction of 5 houses for members with a total cost of 220 million VND, and repaired 3 houses with an amount of 60 million VND.

The congress elected 5 people to the new Executive Committee.

After the grassroots congress, the Executive Committee of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin of Kim Thanh province and district met to draw experience to direct the congress more effectively.

According to the plan, the Congress of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin at the grassroots level will be completed in the second quarter, the district level will be completed in the third quarter and the provincial level will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2024.
