The Central Inspection Commission proposed to discipline former Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Secretary Pham Van Vong.

On November 18, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Commission held its 51st meeting. Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, and Head of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Cam Tu chaired the meeting.

Implementing the direction of the Central Steering Committee on preventing corruption, waste and negativity; after reviewing the report on the results of the proposal to discipline party members who violated the law at the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee, the Central Inspection Committee found that Mr. Pham Van Vong, former member of the Central Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Phung Quang Hung, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Ha Hoa Binh, former member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, member of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee, had degraded in political ideology, morality and lifestyle.

In addition, the above individuals also violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing corruption, waste, and negativity, in organizing and implementing projects carried out by Phuc Son Group Joint Stock Company; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing very serious consequences, huge losses to the state budget, public outrage, and very bad effects on the reputation of the Party organization and local government, to the point of having to take disciplinary action.

Pursuant to Party regulations, the Central Inspection Committee proposes that competent authorities consider and discipline Mr. Pham Van Vong, Mr. Phung Quang Hung, and Mr. Ha Hoa Binh.

The Central Inspection Commission also reviewed the results of the implementation of the inspection and supervision conclusions of a number of organizations and individuals. The Central Inspection Commission requested the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Central Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and a number of related individuals to continue to lead, direct and seriously implement the conclusions of the Central Inspection Commission.

Also at the meeting, the Central Inspection Committee reviewed and resolved one denunciation and reviewed and concluded a number of other important issues.
