Sao Do University won the promising prize of Vietnam Robotics Competition

The Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, and 2 third prizes to the teams. The SDU GBF team of Sao Do University (Chi Linh, Hai Duong) won the promising prize. Previously, the SDU GBF team failed to overcome the LH-J4F team of Lac Hong University (Dong Nai) in the quarterfinals. Lac Hong University has won the Vietnam Robocon Competition 9 times.

SDU GBF is known as the “Golden Buffalo” and is also the only representative of Sao Do University to enter the quarterfinals of the Vietnam Robotics Competition 2024. Previously, SDU GBF met many strong teams from the following schools: Hung Yen University of Technical Education, Hanoi University of Industry, University of Economics and Industrial Technology.

Sao Do University has 5 teams participating in the Vietnam Robotics Competition 2024. This is the 16th year Sao Do University has participated in this competition and the fourth time reaching the quarterfinals. The highest achievement of the school is winning third place nationwide in 2019.

This year’s Vietnam Robot Competition has 64 teams from 23 universities, colleges and technical secondary schools nationwide participating. After the preliminary round, 32 teams entered the final round.

The theme of this year's competition is "Harvest Day", inspired by rice cultivation on terraced fields. The two robocon teams from Hung Yen University of Technical Education, which won first and second prizes respectively, will represent Vietnam at ABU Robocon 2024 - scheduled to take place in Quang Ninh this August.
