Sao Do University (Chi Linh) has 5 teams participating in the preliminary round of the Vietnam Robot Competition 2024 and has excellently passed this round, entering the final round held in Hanoi from May 7-12.

On May 4-5, 5 teams from Sao Do University participated in the preliminary round of the Vietnam Robot Competition 2024 in Hanoi.
This is the 16th year Sao Do University has participated in this competition. The school's highest achievement was winning third place nationally in 2019. In 2023, Sao Do University had 4/5 teams entering the final round of the Vietnam Robot Creation Competition.

This year's Vietnam Robot Competition has 64 teams from 23 universities, colleges and technical secondary schools nationwide participating.
This year, the Organizing Committee did not organize a regional qualifying round like previous years, but calculated the teams' achievements based on the results of the robots' activities in the preliminary round. Each team had 3 performances: 1 round on the green field, 1 round on the red field, and 1 round where the team chose the green field or the red field. The competition results of each team were the combined results of the 3 rounds.
The theme of this year's competition is "Harvest Day", inspired by rice cultivation on terraced fields. From May 7-12, 32 teams will compete at the Tay Ho Culture, Information and Sports Center (Hanoi) to find the representative of Vietnam to compete at ABU Robocon 2024 - scheduled to take place in August in Quang Ninh.
