According to the People's Committee of Tu Ky district (Hai Duong), before the day of forced land acquisition, by the afternoon of September 24, 2 more households agreed to receive compensation and hand over the land to implement the Investment Project to build a new residential area in Tu Ky town.
Those are the households of Mr. Nguyen Van K. and Ms. Nguyen Thi T., both in Tu Ky town.
The Council for Compensation, Site Clearance and Resettlement Support of Tu Ky District and the People's Committee of Tu Ky Town have continued to promote propaganda work, meeting each household to persuade and mobilize; increasing propaganda on the mass media system about the significance of the project, creating consensus among the people.
The total area recovered for the project is 151,238m2, involving 411 households. As of the afternoon of September 24, the district still has 33 households using agricultural land who have not agreed to receive compensation and hand over the land. The reason is that the households have not agreed on the compensation price or have requests for compensation plans.
The work of enforcing land recovery and site clearance to implement the Investment Project to build a new residential area in Tu Ky town will take place on September 25.
