After being prosecuted and temporarily detained, Pham Quang Linh (also known as Quang Linh Vlogs, member of the Board of Directors of Chi Em Rot Group Joint Stock Company) expressed remorse.
The defendant stated that he was aware of his illegal actions. “I would like to apologize to those who trusted me to buy the product,” Quang Linh Vlogs said.
Meanwhile, Nguyen Thi Thai Hang (also known as Hang Du Muc, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Chi em rot Group Joint Stock Company) admitted responsibility because the Kera vegetable candy sold to consumers was a product put into the customer's body.
Presenting at the investigation agency, Hang Du Muc said: "If that day, during the production process, our team had been strict and rigorous, and had checked very carefully, then today would not have happened. I accept my responsibility, this was a very big mistake."
Previously, on April 3, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency prosecuted and temporarily detained 5 suspects to clarify the act of producing fake food products and deceiving customers.
Five people were prosecuted and temporarily detained, including: Pham Quang Linh, Nguyen Phong (Chairman of the Board of Directors of ASIA LIFE Joint Stock Company); Le Tuan Linh (Director, legal representative of Sisters' Group Joint Stock Company); Le Thanh Cong (member of the Board of Directors of Sisters' Group Joint Stock Company) and Nguyen Thi Thai Hang.
In another development, Dak Lak Provincial Police also decided to temporarily suspend Miss Thuy Tien's exit to verify and clarify the issue related to Kera vegetable candy.
