Compulsory land recovery of 5 households to implement the Doan Tung 2 industrial cluster project in Thanh Mien

To implement the Doan Tung 2 industrial cluster project, Thanh Mien district had to reclaim land from about 250 households. To date, the district has completed site clearance of over 45.8 hectares. Nearly 0.7 hectares of agricultural land of 5 households have not yet been handed over to implement the project.

These households said that the compensation price was still low and requested to work directly with the investor. Thanh Mien district and Doan Tung commune have organized dialogues, propaganda, and mobilization many times, but the 5 households still do not agree with the compensation and support plan, affecting the project's progress.

In order for the project to be implemented as planned, Thanh Mien district has carried out forced land acquisition for these 5 households. The organization of propaganda, mobilization, dialogue, persuasion and organization of forced land acquisition were carried out in accordance with regulations, ensuring security and order.

Doan Tung 2 Industrial Cluster has a total area of ​​about 46.5 hectares in Doan Tung Commune, invested by Hoa Quan Company Limited (Hanoi). This industrial cluster mainly attracts light industries, supporting industries, agricultural and food processing, and industries that do not cause environmental pollution.
