Destroy confiscated administrative violation shipments

According to the Council for Destruction of Administrative Violations, Ninh Binh Market Management Department, the total value of the destroyed shipments was determined to be over 1 billion VND.

These are all prohibited goods, smuggled goods, goods of unknown origin, unpublished quality standards, and expired goods that were discovered and seized in 2022 and from the beginning of 2023 until now.

The main types of goods destroyed are alcohol, cigarettes, clothes, shoes, children's toys, cosmetics, functional foods, motorbike equipment, baby diapers...

In the presence of the Council for Destruction of Administrative Violations, the authorities destroyed the above-mentioned goods by cutting and smashing them until they were no longer of any use. They were then transported by specialized vehicles to the disposal area and burned all the goods in the disposal area.

Mr. Vu Duc Hanh, Deputy Director of the Market Management Department of Ninh Binh province, said that the destruction of administratively violating goods is a propaganda measure, reminding production and business establishments to comply with the provisions of the law in the purchase, sale and supply of goods to the market. This is also an active propaganda measure to raise people's awareness in the fight against commercial fraud and market control.

According to Mr. Vu Duc Hanh, from now until the end of 2023, the market management force of Ninh Binh province will continue to implement programs and plans to inspect and control the market, promptly detect and handle violations; focus on inspecting and controlling the market on occasions: Mid-Autumn Festival, New Year's Day, Lunar New Year...
