School violence, social evils and law violations among students are still complicated, causing negative impacts on the physical, mental, moral and lifestyle of the young generation.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has just signed Directive 02 dated January 26, 2024 of the Prime Minister on strengthening coordination between schools, families and society to prevent school violence, crimes and social evils among students.
The directive stated that in recent times, coordination between schools, families, and society in preventing school violence, preventing crimes and social evils, and ensuring school security and safety has been directed and implemented by the education sector, Party committees, and authorities at all levels with many specific solutions and achieved many positive results.
However, school violence, social evils and law violations among students are still complicated. Forms of school violence are increasingly diverse, illegal drug use and law violations tend to increase and become younger.
The Prime Minister's Directive emphasized that the above situation has negative impacts on the physical, mental, moral and lifestyle of the young generation, affecting the educational environment and causing anxiety among the people.
The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Education and Training to direct training institutions and teacher training and education management staff to focus on innovating the content, methods and forms of life skills education.
At the same time, strengthen training for management staff, homeroom teachers, teachers, and staff in charge of psychological counseling, Youth Union, Association, and Team work on skills to respond to social networks related to school violence;
Safety education, crime prevention and social evils for children, pupils and students.
Enhance skills in handling situations related to the emergence of school violence, and enhance the responsibility of heads of educational institutions in ensuring the safety of the schools under their charge.
The Prime Minister directed educational institutions to coordinate with local agencies and departments to organize inspections, assessments and develop regular and ad hoc reporting mechanisms on preventing school violence, crime and social evils in schools.
Coordinate with local authorities and police to discuss school security, order and safety.
The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to continue to effectively direct the implementation of Decision No. 228 dated January 30, 2021 of the Prime Minister approving the "Vietnam Family Development Strategy to 2030".
Control and filter movies with violent content among students to avoid negative influences.
The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Information and Communications to direct press agencies, radio and television stations, and telecommunications enterprises to raise awareness and responsibility of parents and social forces in coordinating with schools in preventing and combating school violence, crimes, and social evils against children, students, and pupils.
Control and filter social networking sites with violent content among students to avoid negative influences.
Strengthen digital transformation with specific solutions to support relevant parties in managing the safe use of the Internet and social networks for children, pupils and students.
