The draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution proposes that the Prime Minister appoint the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of provinces and centrally-run cities after the merger.

Prime Minister requests to reduce investment and business conditions and simplify administrative procedures

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed an official dispatch requesting ministries, branches and localities to focus on reducing and simplifying administrative procedures according to Resolution No. 66/NQ-CP dated March 26, 2025 of the Government.
Vietnam will hold first round of negotiations with the US on May 7.

The Prime Minister said that Vietnam is one of six countries prioritized by the US and the first negotiation session with this country will take place on May 7.
