Announcement of the opening session of the 2nd extraordinary session, 15th National Assembly

Recently, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Government and relevant agencies, organizations and individuals have urgently prepared contents to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and decision at the 2nd Extraordinary Session.

Before the opening of the session, at 7:15 a.m., leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front, and National Assembly deputies laid wreaths and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.

At 8:00 a.m., the National Assembly held the opening session of the 2nd extraordinary session of the 15th National Assembly at Dien Hong Hall, National Assembly House. The opening session was broadcast live by Voice of Vietnam (VOV1), Vietnam Television (VTV1), and Vietnam National Assembly Television for voters and people nationwide to follow.

Previously, at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2023, the National Assembly held a preparatory session.

At the meeting, National Assembly deputies listened to the speech of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue; listened to the report of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong on the reception, explanation, and adjustment of the proposed program of the 2nd Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly. After that, the National Assembly discussed and voted to approve the Program of the 2nd Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly.
