The Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee gave opinions on some contents on the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus.

The meeting aims to give opinions on a number of contents related to the Project on orientations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term and the amendment and supplementation of the Law on the Election of Deputies to the National Assembly and People's Councils; and the progress of work to serve the amendment and supplementation of a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.

Attending the meeting were Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly: Nguyen Khac Dinh and Le Minh Hoan.

Speaking at the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated that the contents considered at this meeting are aimed at serving the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational apparatus to submit to competent authorities.

Emphasizing that the apparatus streamlining revolution is entering its second phase, with the organization and streamlining of the ward and commune level apparatus being carried out; after amending the Constitution, the abolition of the district level and the arrangement of the provincial level will be considered. The National Assembly Chairman requested agencies and units to lead and direct political and ideological work among cadres, party members and the people; and to guard against hostile forces taking advantage of the apparatus streamlining revolution to sabotage and distort.

The National Assembly Chairman requested that National Assembly agencies closely coordinate with Government agencies to carefully prepare the contents to be submitted to the Politburo and the Central Executive Committee to ensure progress, quality and requirements.
