The 9th session of the 15th National Assembly has many important contents, including building the country's political system.

Speaking at the opening of the session, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that the 9th Session is expected to open on May 5 and close on June 30.

This is a session with many important contents related to socio-economics, national defense - security, and building the country's political system.

In particular, the National Assembly will give opinions on amending the 2013 Constitution and amending laws related to amending the Constitution to serve the streamlining of the apparatus in the spirit of Resolution 18-NQ/TW in 2017. According to the program, the National Assembly will pass 11 draft laws and give initial opinions on 16 other draft laws.

"The 9th session is of great significance and historical significance; the amount of work is enormous." Emphasizing this, the National Assembly Chairman requested the Government to direct relevant agencies to actively prepare the session's contents, especially the draft laws to be submitted to the National Assembly for approval at the 9th session and related resolutions.

The National Assembly Chairman also requested the National Assembly Standing Committee to closely coordinate with the Nationalities Council and the National Assembly Committees, urgently deploying work in the spirit of "running while lining up" to ensure the success of the session.

Next, the National Assembly Standing Committee listened to the National Assembly Secretary General and Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Tung present a report on a number of issues regarding the preparation for the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
