The 9th regular session of the National Assembly will consider many contents related to administrative unit arrangement.

At the summary of the 9th extraordinary session of the National Assembly organized by the National Assembly Standing Committee this morning, Secretary General and Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Tung stated that the 9th extraordinary session took place right after the great success of the 13th Party Central Committee Conference, which is of special importance to urgently submit to the National Assembly for consideration and decision many urgent issues to serve the revolution of reorganizing and streamlining the apparatus, meeting the very high requirements of the country to enter a new era; continue to immediately remove difficulties and obstacles in institutions and policies to promote resources, create new development space, and contribute to the successful implementation of the goals set by the 13th National Party Congress.

To ensure good preparation for the next sessions, the Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office requested that agencies continue to promote the spirit of initiative, prepare early and remotely, and coordinate closely during the drafting process to ensure the quality and progress of the contents submitted to the National Assembly; focus on carefully preparing the contents submitted to the National Assembly at the 9th Session.

Based on the conclusions of competent authorities on the direction for continuing to reorganize the apparatus, the Government and agencies of the National Assembly urgently organize the review and propose amendments to relevant legal documents, develop and complete documents to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and decision according to their authority, ensuring the legal basis for timely and effective implementation of the Party's policies and guidelines.

According to National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, the 15th National Assembly had 8 regular sessions and 9 extraordinary sessions, "this 15th tenure has had the most extraordinary sessions in history."

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that in the 6.5 days of the 9th extraordinary session, the National Assembly has decided and completed a huge amount of work. This is the determination and effort of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Ethnic Council, the National Assembly committees, especially the National Assembly deputies. The factor and reason for the success is the direct leadership of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Executive Committee, especially General Secretary To Lam.

The National Assembly Chairman said that from that success, the lesson learned is that if you are determined, resolute, and determined to do it, you will have products. Regarding the arrangement of administrative units, the National Assembly Chairman said that the upcoming workload is very large, therefore, the Government needs to urgently submit it, the National Assembly Standing Committee will organize after-hours meetings to consider, and any issues under the authority of the National Assembly will be decided by the National Assembly based on the Government's submission.

Regarding the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units, the National Assembly Chairman emphasized that this is an issue of public concern... The National Assembly Standing Committee and the Government need to closely follow Conclusions 126, 127 and 128 of the Politburo and the Secretariat.

The 9th session of the National Assembly is expected to last a long time, with a large amount of work, including the content of amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Constitution and laws related to the Constitution. The National Assembly Chairman suggested that the Government Standing Committee resolutely direct relevant ministries to absorb, thoroughly explain, and convince the draft laws to be submitted to the National Assembly for approval and carefully prepare the draft laws to be submitted to the National Assembly for comments.
