These days, the commune police force and many related forces have been patrolling and guarding day and night so that people can celebrate Tet peacefully and happily.

On the afternoon of the 30th of Tet, we were present at the Lai Vu Commune Police Headquarters (Kim Thanh) to follow the officers and soldiers on patrol and control. The working group, including police, mobile militia, and civil defense, patrolled some main roads of the commune, especially market, business, and trading locations serving people shopping for Tet. The officers and soldiers reminded business and trading owners to ask buyers to park their vehicles neatly, not obstruct traffic, and ensure fire and explosion prevention and control. In addition, the working group focused on accommodation service businesses to grasp the number of people staying to work and celebrate Tet in the locality.

Lai Vu Commune Police actively patrol and control to ensure safety for boarding houses where people stay in the locality for Tet.

Major Nguyen Trong Toan, Deputy Chief of Lai Vu Commune Police, said: "During Tet, we maintain 50% of our staff on duty, coordinate with the mobile militia and civil defense forces to continuously patrol and control village roads and alleys, promptly detect and handle violations. In particular, we patrol in areas with boarding houses to ensure the safety of property for workers returning home and for those staying to enjoy Tet with peace of mind."

On the night of the 30th of Tet, all commune police were on duty with 100% of their personnel and together with other local forces continuously patrolled and controlled areas in the locality.

Quang Thanh Commune Police are ready to go on duty to ensure security and order on New Year's Eve.

According to Captain Nguyen Van Nam, Chief of Quang Thanh Commune Police (Kinh Mon), due to the large area, many businesses, production and trading households, and the two provincial roads 389 and 389B running through it, during Tet, the commune police force must continuously patrol and control to prevent violations of traffic safety and order, theft, robbery, snatching... Particularly on the night of the 30th of Tet, the police force patrols until the morning of the 1st of Tet to ensure safety for people to welcome the new year.

Also on New Year's Eve, the working group of Pham Kha commune (Thanh Mien) consisting of 20 police officers and soldiers and other forces divided into 3 teams to patrol and control the roads and areas to ensure security and order in the area.

Pham Kha commune leaders met and encouraged patrol and control forces on the night of the 30th of Tet.

From patrolling and controlling during Tet, the communal police force promptly detected and handled many cases. According to Cam Doai Commune Police, from January 2 to February 10 (ie from December 23 to the first day of Tet), during the peak patrolling and controlling during Tet, the communal police force detected and punished 3 cases of violations of regulations on temporary residence registration, 3 cases of violations of firecrackers, 2 cases of environmental violations, and 1 case of illegal drug trafficking...

With the spirit of serving the people and not being afraid of difficulties of the commune police force, people can rest assured to enjoy Tet and welcome spring, especially workers who cannot return to their hometowns due to conditions but stay in other localities to celebrate Tet.

Especially, every time we go out, we see the police patrolling and checking, we feel more secure," said Nguyen Quang Huy from Uong Bi City (Quang Ninh), who stayed in Quyet Tam village, Lai Vu commune (Kim Thanh) to celebrate Tet.
