Industrial park specializes in manufacturing supporting industrial products and providing services for manufacturing supporting industrial products, attracting investment projects in manufacturing supporting industrial products with high added value.

The industrial park has a system of convenient public social works including accommodation, commercial services, culture, sports, healthcare, green parks, etc. serving workers and laborers in the industrial park.

According to the resolution, the main functional areas are arranged as follows: administrative land, industrial park services, arrangement of land use functions for commercial services, public utility services for construction workers with a maximum height of 9 floors.

Land for factories, enterprises, and warehouses will be planned into industrial plots with diverse and flexible areas to meet many types of industry, with a maximum height of 5 floors...

Previously, Kim Thanh district had planned to add Kim Thanh industrial park with a total area of ​​nearly 165 hectares in the communes of Tuan Viet, Co Dung, Thuong Vu. This industrial park is oriented to attract businesses in the fields of information technology, precision mechanical engineering, household goods manufacturing, electricity, electronics... with high technology and clean technology content. This industrial park is in the process of site clearance.
Thus, including planning, Kim Thanh district currently has 4 industrial parks including: Lai Vu, Phu Thai, Kim Thanh and Kim Thanh 2, of which Lai Vu and Phu Thai industrial parks are operating, with an occupancy rate of over 90%.
