This year, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine uses 3 admission methods: Admission based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam; direct admission; priority admission.

The school added 1 major for enrollment in 2024, which is traditional medicine doctor (major code 7720115) with 50 targets. The school's total university enrollment target in 2024 is 1,530 candidates.

Admission quotas are allocated according to the following methods: admission based on high school graduation exam results is 1,426 quotas; direct admission is 34 quotas; priority admission is 70 quotas (for Laotian - Cambodian students under the protocol). This year, the school has removed the admission code for students with registered residence in Ho Chi Minh City.
