Both matches were between the Vietnamese national tennis team including Nguyen Anh Tu (men's singles), Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh (women's singles), and two players from Guangdong (China). Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh was forced to give up her racket to Yang Shilu with a score of 2-4.

In the men's singles final, Vietnam's No. 1 tennis player Nguyen Anh Tu excellently defeated Juan Xuan Song with a score of 4-1 to win the gold medal.

Third prize in men's singles is Doan Ba ​​Tuan Anh (Hai Duong) and Dinh Anh Hoang (Vietnam national team).

The Con Son Cup International Table Tennis Tournament hosted by Hai Duong took place from September 9 to 13 at the Hai Duong Provincial Sports Gymnasium. This was a practice session for the Vietnam national team before leaving for the 19th ASIAD in Hangzhou (China).
