Guangdong men's and women's teams won both team events of Kunshan Cup International Table Tennis Tournament

On the evening of September 11, the final matches of the men's and women's teams of the 2023 Con Son Cup International Table Tennis Tournament took place at Hai Duong Sports Gymnasium. Both matches were between the players of the Vietnamese national team and Guangdong (China).

Guangdong (China) tennis players won both the men's and women's team finals.

In the match that ended at nearly 11 p.m., the girls of the Vietnamese national team, including Nguyen Thi Nga, Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh and Tran Mai Ngoc, could not overcome the Guangdong women's team, losing with a score of 2-3.

Meanwhile, the Vietnamese national male tennis team including Nguyen Anh Tu, Dinh Anh Hoang, and Nguyen Van Huan also lost to Guangdong with the same score.

Vietnam national team girls lost to Guangdong

This is the first event of the 2023 Con Son Cup International Table Tennis Tournament, hosted by Hai Duong province. The tournament has the participation of 7 teams: Vietnam national team, Army, Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi, Hanoi T&T, host Hai Duong and Guangdong.

The Vietnamese teams are full of famous faces of national table tennis. The Guangdong team sent a young squad, but just won 3rd place in the Chinese youth tournament.

On the morning of September 11, the men's and women's team semi-finals took place. The men's team Hai Duong 1 and women's team Hai Duong 1 with players Nguyen Duc Tuan, Doan Ba Tuan Anh, Bui Ngoc Lan... won 3rd place, exceeding the target set before the tournament.

On September 12, the 2023 Con Son Cup International Table Tennis Tournament will take place on 8 tables with men's and women's singles. This is also the final event of the tournament.
