Due to a family conflict, Giang Van Vien used a knife to injure his biological mother in the chest and back, causing her to die on the spot. Immediately after, Vien used a knife to stab himself in the stomach.
At 2:30 p.m. on February 6, in Khuoi Chau village, Quang Ngan commune, Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang, a particularly serious murder case occurred, leaving one person dead.
Receiving information from Vi Xuyen District Police, the Office of the Investigation Police Agency of Ha Giang Provincial Police coordinated with other units to conduct a crime scene investigation, autopsy and investigation.
Initial results determined: Due to conflicts in family life, Giang Van Vien (born in 1995) used a knife to injure his biological mother, Giang Gia Chin (born in 1950), in the chest and back, causing the victim to die on the spot.
Immediately afterwards, Giang Van Vien committed suicide by stabbing himself in the stomach but was discovered by his family and taken to the emergency room. He is currently being treated at Vi Xuyen District General Hospital.
The case is under investigation and clarification.
