Love conflict, man kills 2 women in Lai Chau

At around 5:30 a.m. on April 26, Sung Phai Commune Police (Lai Chau City, Lai Chau Province) received a report that a murder had occurred at the home of Ms. Sung Thi Ch. (64 years old, residing in Trung Chai village).

Sung Phai Commune Police reported to the City Police Command to coordinate with the Criminal Police Department and functional departments of the Provincial Police to go to the scene to verify and clarify.

Police identified the two deceased victims as Ms. Sung Thi Ch. and Ms. Giang Thi L. (Ms. Ch.'s daughter); the suspect was Hang A Ho (42 years old, residing in Cu Nha La village, Sung Phai commune).

Initially, the investigation agency determined that Hang A Ho had a romantic relationship with Ms. L. Due to emotional conflicts, Hang A Ho used a sharp knife to stab Ms. L. and Ms. Ch. to death.

After committing the crime, Hang A Ho locked himself in the house, stabbed himself in the stomach many times and committed suicide.

The police force broke the door, controlled Hang A Ho, seized the knife and took the subject to the emergency room at Lai Chau General Hospital.

Ms. L.'s husband has passed away, and Hang A Ho's wife has also left for many years without returning. Hang A Ho and Ms. L. have been in a relationship for over 2 years now.

The case is currently being assigned to the Criminal Police Department to continue investigating and clarifying according to authority.

This morning, on behalf of the Provincial Police Department, Colonel Tao Van Truong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, went to the scene to direct the handling of the incident. At the same time, he encouraged, expressed condolences and awarded 5 million VND to each victim's family.
