Through investigation, the police identified the suspect who killed the owner of a gold shop in Phu Thai town (Kim Thanh) as a 12th grade student at a high school in Kim Thanh district.
The suspect was identified as Do Ngoc K. (born in 2005) who lived in the same town as the victim in Phu Thai. The initial cause was determined to be that K. was addicted to gaming so he borrowed about 5 million VND from friends to deposit money to play but had not yet paid it back. K. killed Mr. D.VT (born in 1985) who was in the gold and silver and fine arts business to take property but did not have time to take anything.
Previously, at around 1:00 a.m. on January 13, in the riverbank area behind September 20 Square, Phu Thai town, people discovered Mr. T. dead next to a tree, with a deep cut on his neck, and fishing gear next to him.
The Provincial Police Investigation Agency has arrested K. and continues to investigate and clarify the case.
