On November 21, in Hai Duong City, the Provincial Veterans Association and the Hai Duong Provincial People's Police Veterans Association signed a Joint Program for the 2024-2029 period. This is the first time the two units have signed to implement this program.
The coordination program includes 12 contents. It focuses on coordinating propaganda and raising awareness for members to effectively implement the Party's policies and guidelines and the State's laws, especially in mass mobilization work. Coordinate with the People's Army and People's Police from the central to local levels to build and consolidate a strong national defense, a national defense posture associated with a solid people's security posture.
Coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to effectively promote mediation teams, actively contribute to resolving complicated cases in the locality, and prevent the formation of "hot spots" of political security and social order and safety. Grasp the situation of members, share good experiences, and creative ways in implementing, replicating, and maintaining advanced typical models in all levels of the association. Focus on developing family economy, building new rural areas; participate in starting businesses to create jobs, create conditions for workers, especially developing production, business, and service enterprises...
This coordination program will diversify the content and activities of the associations, improve the effectiveness between the association levels and members in the movement to protect national security. To implement this content, the units focus on propaganda, develop implementation plans, annually summarize, evaluate and learn from experiences, and replicate good models.
The Provincial Veterans Association currently has 114,000 members, and the Provincial People's Police Veterans Association has over 2,000 members.
