They are living with their youngest son who has a serious kidney disease and needs regular dialysis. The house where Mr. Loi and his wife live was built in 1994 and is dilapidated and severely degraded.

Mr. Loi's family was supported to repair, cover the roof with cold corrugated iron, cover the walls with plastic materials, redo the electrical system, replace the door... with a total cost of over 70 million VND.

Nam Sach District Veterans Association supported Mr. Loi's family with 25 million VND. The town Veterans Association and the Dong Khe Veterans Association supported 5 million VND. The residential area associations supported 2.5 million VND... In addition, the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien, a business owner at Nam Sach town market, supported 10 million VND.

This is the third house that the Nam Sach District Veterans Association has supported to repair since the beginning of the year. The association is expected to provide support to repair the fourth house for veterans in Nam Chinh Commune before July 27 on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.
