On September 18, leaders of Kim Thanh Thanh district (Hai Duong) organized 6 delegations to visit and present gifts to 23 families in difficult circumstances in the district affected by storm No. 3. The district will support the repair and construction of 60 houses affected by the storm.
The 23 families receiving gifts are poor, near-poor, and extremely disadvantaged households out of a total of 60 households whose houses collapsed or had their roofs blown off and are currently homeless. Kim Thanh District gave each family a gift worth 3.5 million VND. The total value of the gifts is 80.5 million VND, drawn from the district budget.

Storm No. 3 caused 60 poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households to have their houses collapsed and their roofs blown off. Kim Thanh District has a plan to support the repair and construction of all of the above houses according to Decree 20/2021/ND-CP dated March 15, 2021 of the Government regulating social assistance policies for social protection beneficiaries. Of which, 47 houses will be repaired and 13 will be newly built. The support level is 20 million VND/repaired house, 40 million VND/newly built house.
