National Assembly Delegate Nguyen Ngoc Son visited and gave gifts to families affected by storms and floods in Hai Duong.

On September 13, National Assembly delegate Nguyen Ngoc Son, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment, visited and presented gifts to 30 disadvantaged families affected by storm No. 3 and floods in Tu Ky, Gia Loc and Cam Giang districts.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son visited and encouraged Ms. Nguyen Thi Quy (88 years old, Nguyen Giap commune, Tu Ky) whose house was completely collapsed due to storm No. 3.

Delegate Nguyen Ngoc Son visited poor and near-poor families whose houses had collapsed, had their roofs blown off, and some people had to evacuate due to the impact of floods.

At the places he visited, delegate Nguyen Ngoc Son visited and shared difficulties with families affected by storms and floods, encouraging them to soon stabilize their lives. He requested that party committees at all levels, local authorities, units and enterprises pay timely attention to families in difficult circumstances, affected by storms and floods to help them ease their difficulties and stabilize their lives.

The delegation visited the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bac, Cam Phuc commune (Cam Giang), a poor household whose house was flooded and had to be evacuated.

On this occasion, National Assembly delegate Nguyen Ngoc Son presented gifts to encourage 30 families, with a total value of 30 million VND.

National Assembly Deputy Nguyen Ngoc Son, born in 1975, from Dai Duc commune (Kim Thanh), is a National Assembly deputy of the 15th tenure running for election in Hai Duong. He is also Vice Chairman of the Vietnam - Belarus Friendship Parliamentarians' Group.
