On the evening of April 23, Yen Bai Provincial Police initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, and issued an arrest warrant for the accused to be detained in the case of "Violating regulations on labor safety" occurring at Yen Bai Cement and Mineral Joint Stock Company.
Implementing the direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, Yen Bai Provincial Police have directed professional units to concentrate forces to coordinate with relevant agencies and branches to urgently investigate and clarify the cause of the particularly serious work accident that occurred on April 22, 2024 at Yen Bai Cement and Minerals Joint Stock Company.
Based on the results of the initial investigation and verification and the collected documents and evidence, on April 23, 2024, the Investigation Police Agency of Yen Bai Provincial Police decided to prosecute the criminal case of "Violating regulations on labor safety", decided to prosecute the accused, and issued an arrest warrant to detain Tran Manh Hung (born in 1980, residing in Group 8, Yen Thinh Ward, Yen Bai City, a material weighing employee of Yen Bai Cement Factory) for the crime of Violating regulations on labor safety, as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 295 of the 2015 Penal Code.
After the Yen Bai Provincial People's Procuracy approved, the Yen Bai Provincial Police Investigation Agency executed the decisions and prosecution orders in accordance with the provisions of law.
The Investigation Police Agency of Yen Bai Province Police is actively investigating and expanding the case, clarifying all criminal acts of the accused Tran Manh Hung as well as violations of related individuals and organizations to strictly handle them in accordance with the provisions of law.
