The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong City has just decided to administratively fine the joint venture of Hai Duong Dike Construction & Rural Development Joint Stock Company and Hanoi Water Works Construction Joint Stock Company; the joint venture of Kunhwa Engineering & Consulting Co., Ltd and Viet Vuong Consulting, Investment & Construction Joint Stock Company (both in Hanoi) VND 109 million for some violations in the construction of package HD-PW-07 (on Viet Hoa road) under the Project for comprehensive development of dynamic urban areas of Hai Duong City.
Specifically, on Viet Hoa Street, the joint venture of Hai Duong Embankment Construction and Rural Development Joint Stock Company and Hanoi Water Works Construction Joint Stock Company did not ensure safety measures in accordance with the approved documents. During the process of removing piles, the contractor blocked the entire road, and some locations lacked barriers. For this action, the joint venture was fined 14 million VND.
The above joint venture is also constructing to restore the crushed stone layer type II but does not have a project quality management record and was fined 60 million VND.
As a supervision consultant, the joint venture Kunhwa Engineering & Consulting Co., Ltd and Viet Vuong Consulting, Investment & Construction Joint Stock Company did not perform construction supervision work according to regulations, leaving the construction contractor without a construction quality management record. For this violation, the joint venture was fined 35 million VND.
