3 bid packages for comprehensive development of dynamic urban areas in Hai Duong city are slow to return road surfaces

According to the People's Committee of Hai Duong City, as of January 26, the progress of restoring the road surface structure of the construction units of packages HD-PW-07, HD-PW-08, HD-PW-09 under the Project for comprehensive development of dynamic urban areas of Hai Duong City was slow, affecting traffic safety and urban aesthetics.

The City People's Committee requests the Management Board of the Integrated Development Project of Dynamic Cities to urgently direct the construction units of the packages to quickly restore the road surface structure, ensuring the requirements on quality and progress for convenient travel for people. Collect, sweep, and clean the road surface and median strip; clean up construction waste; move and gather construction materials in the right place. Organize the temporary handover of the sections where the road surface structure has been restored.

The City Transport Enterprise monitors and inspects the quality of the restored road surface before handover, including: ensuring flatness, smoothness, good drainage; the joint position between the old and new road surfaces is smooth and tight.

Previously, Hai Duong City People's Committee issued Plan 446/KH-UBND on ensuring traffic order and safety during the New Year, Giap Thin New Year and Spring Festival 2024. In which, the Management Board of the Integrated Development Project of Dynamic Urban Areas of Hai Duong City was assigned to complete the construction of the road surface structure of the exploited routes, ensuring traffic safety before January 20, 2024.
