About 100 households in Tu Ky need to be resettled when constructing the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway.

On March 20, the People's Committee of Tu Ky district (Hai Duong) held a conference to disseminate and propagate to households about the expected needs and resettlement policies to serve the site clearance for the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong Railway Construction Investment Project.

The Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong Railway Construction Investment Project has a total length of over 390 km, with a total investment of about 203,231 billion VND. The section passing through Tu Ky district is 11.2 km long, passing through 5 communes: Ky Son, Quang Phuc, Binh Lang, Hung Dao, and Chi Minh.

According to the survey results, the whole Tu Ky district has nearly 200 households with residential land subject to site clearance related to the project, of which about 100 households in Chi Minh and Ky Son communes have resettlement needs.

At the dissemination conference, the leaders of Tu Ky District People's Committee informed households about the meaning, overview of the scale and importance of the project; expected resettlement construction location; number of resettlement land lots to report to the Department of Construction and all levels to estimate the total investment in site clearance to implement the project.
