Hai Duong considers tuition support for vocational education students

Concluding this content, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Luu Van Ban, requested relevant departments and branches to clearly identify the groups of subjects in need of support in Hai Duong, including: junior high school and high school graduates; young people completing military service, police; workers changing jobs... These groups must clarify the quantity, needs, and funding for support... In particular, attention must be paid to supporting learners participating in training models in the form of linking vocational training institutions, businesses and the State. Policy development must aim at practical goals, bringing development benefits to the province.

According to the proposal to draft a resolution regulating tuition support for vocational education students in Hai Duong province, the total estimated budget to support the implementation of this policy is over 187 billion VND. Of which, support for elementary vocational training, training under 3 months for about 6,400 people, total implementation budget is over 19 billion VND/3 years; support for intermediate and college level training for about 5,300 people/year, total implementation budget is over 168 billion VND/3 school years.

The meeting of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee in July (3rd time) also considered and discussed the following contents and reports: Plan to implement the National Strategy on attracting and promoting talents to 2030, with a vision to 2050 reported by the Department of Home Affairs; the issuance of the List of drugs for centralized bidding at the local level; the proposal to develop a resolution regulating the quantity and level of monthly support for medical staff in villages and residential areas in communes, wards and towns in the province; the development of a Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on Regulations on adjusting and supplementing the Land Price List for the period 2020-2024 in Hai Duong province; the issuance of a Resolution on land support policies for ethnic minorities living in the province; the current situation, difficulties, obstacles and proposed solutions to improve the quality of vocational education associated with job creation at enterprises in the province; Establish a working group to visit the martyrs' cemetery and organize a number of activities in Phu Yen province; consider selecting an investor to build the technical infrastructure of An Dong industrial cluster (Nam Sach); implementation plan and issues related to the project to build a cinema on Tran Hung Dao street (Hai Duong city); a temporary rotation plan for practitioners at public medical examination and treatment facilities in Hai Duong province in 2025; issue a decision regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Hai Duong Provincial Population Department.
