Hai Duong will organize many activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee has issued a plan to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

The celebration plan includes five main activities. These include organizing a ceremony to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, awarding the Nguyen Luong Bang Press Award and honoring outstanding individuals who have contributed to Hai Duong journalism. The event will take place during the anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day on June 21.

The province will organize a seminar on "Literature - art, journalism accompanies the cause of building, protecting and developing the country". The content of the seminar will exchange experiences in creating journalistic, literary and artistic works; development trends of modern journalism, the mission of journalism, and building a team of journalists. The program has sideline activities such as a press exhibition with the implementation of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, and a photo exhibition "Hai Duong - Potential for development and integration". The organization time is in the first quarter of 2025.

Hai Duong will study and propose to build a memorial stele at the place where comrade Nguyen Luong Bang founded the Cong Nong newspaper - the first revolutionary newspaper of the province. Based on the actual situation, the province will organize appropriate activities to return to the source, repay gratitude, and volunteer in conjunction with the anniversary and important events in late 2024 and 2025.

Hai Duong will improve institutions, mechanisms, policies, training, fostering, and coaching in press activities. In particular, reviewing, researching, amending, and supplementing mechanisms and policies to ensure the leadership of the Party and the management of the State over the press. Ensuring citizens' freedom of the press and freedom of speech in the press. Creating conditions for the press to develop in line with development trends in the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution and the country's political, economic and social conditions. Strengthening political and ideological work, fostering professional skills for reporters, editors, and technicians of press agencies. Training leaders and managers at all levels on skills of interacting with the press and media.

Also on this occasion, the province will organize information and propaganda, cultural and sports activities, including developing guidelines and propaganda outlines to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day; organizing a singing festival for journalists, developing reports and columns on the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. Organizing sports competitions for reporters; organizing a photo contest with the theme "Hai Duong - Potential for development and integration", publishing a special issue of the Culture, Sports and Tourism newsletter. Compiling and publishing books on Hai Duong Revolutionary Press; publishing a special issue of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day; publishing a collection of works "Hai Duong Literature and Arts - literary memoirs"...
