On the afternoon of April 19, the Propaganda Department of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee organized a consultation on the draft plan to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) to report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
At the meeting, leaders of Hai Duong Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and a number of relevant sectors and agencies gave comments on the draft plan.
According to the draft plan, Hai Duong plans to organize many activities such as: Ceremony to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day; seminar on achievements of 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press; exhibition of press photos, press publications introducing achievements of 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press; literary, artistic, physical education, sports activities and some other activities related to Hai Duong press.
Activities will be organized in the second quarter of 2025. It is expected that Hai Duong Newspaper will be assigned to advise on the compilation and publication of the book "Hai Duong Revolutionary Press". Organize activities to show gratitude and remember the source of water; build a memorial stele for comrade Nguyen Luong Bang in Ap Don, the birthplace of the first revolutionary newspaper in Hai Duong (now Kinh Duong village, Thai Duong commune, Binh Giang)...

At the same time, honoring and showing gratitude to generations of journalists and press agencies with outstanding achievements; fostering and educating pride and love for the profession in journalists.
Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Quang Phuc, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, emphasized that the commemorative activities need to focus on location, save on budget, and be solemn and diverse in form. He suggested that agencies continue to innovate content and form, improve the quality of propaganda, and grasp public opinion in the context of strong development of information technology and social platforms.
