Hai Duong improves skills in supervising basic construction investment and religious work for People's Council delegates

On August 15, the Standing Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council coordinated with the Center for Training Elected Representatives (Deputy Affairs Committee under the National Assembly Standing Committee) to organize training on knowledge and operational skills for provincial and district People's Council delegates in Hai Duong.

In one day, more than 100 delegates of the People's Councils at the provincial and district levels in Hai Duong listened to Central lecturers who are former leaders of the State Audit Office and the Government Committee for Religious Affairs present and discuss two topics on the supervision skills of the People's Councils in capital construction investment and the People's Councils at all levels with current local religious work.

Speaking at the training conference, Comrade Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council emphasized the importance of the conference's contents. The organization of the training conference aims to improve the capacity and effectiveness of People's Council delegates at all levels, meeting the practical requirements and expectations of voters and people in the province.

In particular, supervision of basic construction investment is a very important and complicated content, requiring the People's Council delegates to update and supplement knowledge and new regulations for effective and substantive supervision. Religious work is also a very practical issue, close to people's lives and needs to be cared for and paid attention to by the People's Council delegates.
