The Hai Duong Department of Education and Training has recognized 711 students who won prizes in the provincial-level 10th grade excellent student selection exam for the 2023-2024 school year, an increase of 19 students compared to the previous school year.
Of these, 8 students won first prizes in 8 subjects, including: Truong Thi Lan Anh with 9.4 points in English; Pham Duc Thang with 9 points in physics; Le Thi Minh Phuong with 8.25 points in literature (both from Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted); Nguyen Viet Hung with 9.75 points in chemistry and Pham Anh Duong with 9.25 points in biology (both from Thanh Mien High School).
Nguyen Hai Nam (Kinh Mon High School) got 9.5 points in math; Pham Thi Diem Huong (Thanh Ha High School) got 9.5 points in geography; Ha Thi Hai Yen (Duong An High School, Binh Giang) got 8.5 points in history.
Notably, this year, for the first time, Duong An High School has a student winning first prize in the provincial cultural subject competition. This is a remarkable achievement for Duong An High School.
Previously, on April 5, 1,154 candidates from public high schools and some non-public high schools participated in the provincial exam for excellent 10th grade high school students in the 2023-2024 school year. Each candidate only took one of the following subjects: math, physics, chemistry, literature, history, geography, biology, and English.
