Share the secret to learning English well with Tuoi Tre Online,Bao Phuc said he likes to practice singing English songs, read English stories, learn English on the Internet, and especially communicate with foreigners.
Bao Phuc said that once a month, his English teacher takes a group of friends from Hai Duong City to Hanoi, a distance of about 60km.
She took the children to the walking street around West Lake - where many foreigners live, so they could have the opportunity to speak English with "Westerners".
Regarding the reason for liking to learn English, Bao Phuc said he likes to learn English so that when he grows up he can study abroad.
Nguyen Binh, a student at Thoi Hoa Primary School, Ben Cat Town, Binh Duong Province, also has a similar way of learning English as Bao Phuc.
Binh used to live with his parents in Ho Chi Minh City when he was young. But since the Covid-19 pandemic, Binh's family moved to Binh Duong.
In Binh Duong, there weren't many foreigners for Binh to talk to, so since last summer, every weekend Binh followed his parents to Ho Chi Minh City, going to parks where there were many foreigners to chat and practice his English listening and speaking skills.
As for English grammar and vocabulary, Binh used to practice at an English center, but now Binh only studies at home, through books and the Internet.
