The starting price for Chi Lang and Phu Luong markets in Hai Duong city has been approved by the province to organize an auction to select investors.
On December 31, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province approved a specific price plan as a basis for determining the starting price for auctioning land use rights to select investors to build, operate, manage and exploit Chi Lang market in Nguyen Trai ward and Phu Luong market in Ngoc Chau ward (Hai Duong city).
Accordingly, the starting price for organizing the auction of land use rights to select investors to build, operate, manage and exploit Chi Lang market (area 2,544 m2, land lease payment one time for the entire lease period, term 50 years) is more than 39.6 billion VND.
Starting price for auction of land use rights to select investors to build, operate, manage and exploit Phu Luong market (area 2,186 m2, land lease payment one time for the entire lease period, term 50 years) is more than 21.8 billion VND.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, Finance, Planning and Investment, Construction, Justice; Provincial Tax Department; Hai Duong City People's Committee and related agencies and units based on their functions and tasks to organize and implement in accordance with regulations.

Chi Lang Market in Nguyen Trai Ward and Phu Luong Market in Ngoc Chau Ward (Hai Duong City) are two traditional markets whose detailed planning at 1/500 scale was approved by the People's Committee of Hai Duong City in August 2021.
According to the approved plan, when Phu Luong market is newly built, there will be 22 two-story kiosks, 9 one-story kiosks and 76 covered seats; Chi Lang market will have 5 two-story kiosks, 28 one-story kiosks and 112 covered seats.
