Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung congratulated the doctors and nurses of Nam Sach Medical Center and Chi Linh Leprosy Hospital.

On the afternoon of February 26, comrades Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council visited and congratulated doctors and nurses of Chi Linh Leprosy Hospital and Nam Sach District Medical Center on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2024).

Visiting medical units, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung emphasized that in recent years, despite the lack of facilities, equipment, and human resources, Phong Chi Linh Hospital and Nam Sach District Medical Center have tried to overcome and achieved many positive results in the work of caring for and protecting people's health.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung hopes that units will continue to closely follow programs, projects and local situations, proactively and effectively implement assigned tasks, ensure quality, meet requirements in the new situation, especially actively connect and apply advanced techniques to examine and treat people.

The Party committees and authorities of Chi Linh City and Nam Sach District continue to pay due attention to health care and people's health care. Prioritize resources to attract good doctors, build and develop the hospital system and people's health care facilities.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung requested Phong Chi Linh Hospital to quickly and specifically deploy its tasks and functions. The Department of Health, the Department of Construction, the Department of Planning and Investment, and Chi Linh City should inspect and review the premises and facilities, and advise the Provincial People's Committee in March to soon have a plan to invest in building and repairing the hospital, ensuring patient care and working conditions for doctors and nurses.

The Department of Health is concerned with the regime of doctors and nurses in hospitals and medical centers in accordance with the State's regulations. Researching the projects and support programs of the Ministry of Health to access the work of taking care of people's health, investing in facilities serving the development of health. Calling on organizations and individuals to join hands to support the care and treatment of patients, especially leprosy patients.

Phong Chi Linh Hospital was established in 1969. At one point, the hospital treated up to 300 patients. Last year, the provincial People's Committee invested in repairing and renovating 25 patient treatment rooms and investing in new X-ray machines. The hospital currently has 42 staff members, including 6 doctors and 14 nurses...

Nam Sach District Medical Center currently has more than 300 staff members. Last year, the District Medical Center had more than 127,000 patients examined and treated at the system of medical stations.
