Social Insurance Region XII (Hai Duong - Quang Ninh) includes 13 district-level Social Insurance

Vietnam Social Security has defined the functions, tasks and powers of district-level Social Security. Accordingly, the Social Security Region XII (Hai Duong - Quang Ninh) includes 13 district-level Social Security and will be operational from April 1, 2025.

Specifically, in Hai Duong province, there are 6 district-level Social Insurance, including: Cam Giang District Social Insurance (headquarters in Cam Giang District), Chi Linh - Nam Sach Inter-District Social Insurance (headquarters in Chi Linh City), Tu Ky - Thanh Ha Inter-District Social Insurance (headquarters in Tu Ky District), Kim Thanh - Kinh Mon Inter-District Social Insurance (headquarters in Kim Thanh District), Gia Loc - Ninh Giang Inter-District Social Insurance (headquarters in Gia Loc District), Binh Giang - Thanh Mien Inter-District Social Insurance (headquarters in Binh Giang District).

In Quang Ninh province, there are 7 district-level Social Insurance.

District Social Insurance is an agency under the regional Social Insurance located at the district level, with the function of assisting the Director of the regional Social Insurance in organizing the implementation of social insurance and health insurance regimes and policies; managing the collection and expenditure of social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance at the district level according to regulations.

District-level Social Insurance is under the direct and comprehensive management of the Regional Social Insurance Director and is subject to the state administrative management in the area of ​​the District People's Committee.

Also from April 1, 2025, Social Insurance Region XII (Hai Duong - Quang Ninh) will organize 8 functional departments, including: Department of Collection Management and Participant Development, Department of Social Insurance Regime, Department of Health Insurance Appraisal, Department of Planning - Finance, Department of Inspection - Examination, Department of Organization - Administration, Department of Propaganda and Participant Support, Department of Information Technology and Digital Transformation.

Previously, at the online conference to announce and implement Decision No. 391/QD-BTC dated February 26, 2025 of the Minister of Finance stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of Vietnam Social Security under the Ministry of Finance, Ms. Tran Thi Huong, Director of Hai Duong Provincial Social Security was appointed to the position of Director of Social Security Region XII (Hai Duong - Quang Ninh).
