Simplify procedures for services sending Vietnamese workers to work abroad

On February 2, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 144/QD-TTg approving the Plan to reduce and simplify regulations related to business activities under the state management of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in 2024 and 2025.

Decision to reduce and simplify regulations related to two industries: business of vocational skills assessment services; business of services sending Vietnamese workers to work abroad.

For the business sector of vocational skills assessment services, the Decision reduces and simplifies procedures for granting, re-granting, exchanging, and supplementing certificates of assessment activities and granting national vocational skills certificates (2,000,250).

Components of the application dossier for re-issuance, exchange, and supplementation of the Certificate of assessment activities and issuance of national vocational skills certificates; agencies and organizations are not required to re-submit the "issued Certificate." At the same time, supplement the method of providing online public services throughout the procedure for granting, re-issuing, and exchanging national vocational skills assessor cards (1,000,567).

Along with that, change the components of the application for re-issuance and exchange of national vocational skills certificates, no longer requiring the re-submission of "issued national vocational skills certificates" for administrative procedures for issuance, re-issuance and exchange of national vocational skills certificates (1,000546).

For the business sector of sending Vietnamese workers to work abroad, the Decision abolishes the administrative procedure of issuing notices of return for workers, including team leaders, interpreters, and regional officers going to work abroad under the Government Agreement (2.002021); abolishes the administrative procedure of issuing letters of introduction for Vietnamese citizens participating in the Work and Holiday Program in Australia (2.000292) and re-issuing letters of introduction for Vietnamese citizens participating in the Work and Holiday Program in Australia...
