According to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, from the beginning of the year to March 14, the whole province had nearly 1,500 people working abroad under contracts, an increase of nearly 7 times compared to the same period last year. Of which, the Japanese market still dominates with nearly 60% of Hai Duong's workers working abroad.
This year, most of Hai Duong's large, traditional recruitment markets such as Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan have opened their doors with many preferential policies to welcome Vietnamese workers, different from this time last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Some new markets such as Singapore and Romania have also increased their demand for recruiting Vietnamese workers.
The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs is closely following the development of the labor market, increasing connections to find opportunities for Vietnamese workers to work abroad safely with good income; at the same time, increasing warnings and propaganda to help people avoid the trap of labor "export" fraud.
