On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), on June 27, the working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Duong province led by comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, offered incense and flowers to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the Vietnam - Laos Martyrs Cemetery (Anh Son district) and Truong Bon Relic Site (Do Luong district, both in Nghe An province).

At the Vietnam - Laos Martyrs Cemetery, the delegation of Hai Duong province offered flowers and incense at Uncle Ho's Temple and the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs, expressing their respect and gratitude for the great contributions of heroes and martyrs in the cause of national liberation and protecting the peace of the country.
The Vietnam - Laos Martyrs Cemetery was built in 1976, in Anh Son town, Anh Son district. This is a cemetery that gathers the graves of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Laos; it is also the only cemetery in Vietnam named after the two countries Vietnam - Laos. The project symbolizes the loyal and steadfast solidarity of the two brotherly nations. Here, the best sons of 47 provinces and cities across the country sacrificed on the battlefield in Laos, Hai Duong alone has 99 martyrs resting here.
At Truong Bon National Historical Site in My Son Commune, Do Luong District, the Hai Duong Provincial Delegation offered incense and flowers to commemorate and pay tribute to the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of protecting the Fatherland.
During the resistance war against the US, Truong Bon had a particularly important strategic position, being the only route, connecting the traffic arteries from the great rear of the North, providing manpower, weapons, and food to the battlefield in the South.
Truong Bon has become a heroic relic, marking the glorious victories of our army and people. Truong Bon is a historical symbol of the Vietnamese youth volunteers, where the souls of 1,240 heroic martyrs converge.
On June 28, the delegation of Hai Duong province visited the Dong Loc T-junction Martyrs Cemetery and paid tribute to General Vo Nguyen Giap.
