On the morning of July 15, on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023), the delegation of Hai Duong province offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Dong Loc T-junction historical site, Dong Loc commune, Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province.

At the Dong Loc T-junction Relic Site, in a solemn atmosphere, the provincial leaders and the Hai Duong delegation observed a minute of silence to express their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their blood for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the people. In front of the heroic martyrs, the Hai Duong delegation vowed to continue to unite, successfully carry out the tasks assigned by the Party and the people, and build the homeland of Hai Duong to develop more and more.
Delegation of Hai Duong province offers incense and flowers at Dong Loc T-junction historical relic site
The historical site of Dong Loc T-junction is located on the Ho Chi Minh trail, through the Truong Son mountain range in Dong Loc commune, Can Loc district (Ha Tinh), with a total area of 50 hectares, located in a valley surrounded by hills and high mountains. This was a very important traffic junction during the war, so it was heavily attacked by the US imperialists. In just 240 days and nights, from March to October 1968, the enemy air force dropped 48,600 bombs of all kinds here. 10 female youth volunteers at Dong Loc T-junction heroically sacrificed their lives while performing the task of repairing the road to quickly reopen it after being heavily attacked by the enemy.

Previously, at Truong Bon historical relic site, My Son commune, Do Luong district (Nghe An), after offering flowers and incense at the common grave of 13 heroic martyrs of the youth volunteer force, the provincial delegation offered flowers and incense at the memorial house of 1,240 heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives on the legendary Truong Bon road. Truong Bon is a legendary place associated with the resistance war against the US to save the country. On Highway 15A through Truong Bon, 1,240 cadres, soldiers and youth volunteers sacrificed their lives to protect the road. Especially the heroic feats and sacrifices of 13 soldiers of the "Steel Squad", "Suicide Squad" of the 317th Youth Volunteer Force Company on October 31, 1968 while on duty to connect the traffic arteries.
On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Duong province presented gifts of gratitude to the Truong Bon Historical Relic Management Board and the Gratitude Fund of Ha Tinh province.
