On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), on April 21-22, the working delegation of Hai Duong province organized many meaningful activities to honor people with meritorious services in Dien Bien province.

dscf2635(1).jpg — The provincial delegation led by comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited the Martyrs' Temple at Dien Bien Phu Battlefield on the afternoon of April 21.

The delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap and the heroic martyrs - the country's outstanding sons who devoted their strength and flesh to the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

On the morning of April 22, the delegation of Hai Duong province visited the A1 National Martyrs Cemetery.

Comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, viewed the stele with the names of martyrs from Hai Hung at the A1 National Martyrs Cemetery.

Comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, offered a wreath at Him Lam National Martyrs Cemetery.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council visited Him Lam National Martyrs Cemetery

Comrade Nguyen Hong Son, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee, and other provincial leaders offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap and the heroic martyrs.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Phuc, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, offered incense to pay respect to martyrs at Him Lam National Martyrs Cemetery.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, offered incense to commemorate martyrs at Him Lam National Martyrs Cemetery.

In the photo: Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to Dien Bien Phu veteran Nguyen Duc Dang, born in 1930, from Ninh Giang district, currently living in Dien Bien Phu city.

Through the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Dien Bien province, the delegation sent gifts to the families of soldiers from Hai Duong who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign and are living in Dien Bien province, because they could not visit on this occasion. Hai Duong province presented the Dien Bien province's Gratitude and Repayment Fund with 100 million VND.
