On the afternoon of April 24, a representative of Hai Duong Medical Technical University informed that the school's admission quality assurance threshold based on the results of the 2023 competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University is from 100 points on a 150-point scale; for the medical field, from 120 points.

Specifically, the quantitative reasoning test score must be from 30 points, for medicine from 40 points; the qualitative reasoning test score must be from 25 points; the combined test score for social sciences or natural sciences from 30 points, for medicine from 40 points. In addition, candidates also need to have a grade 12 academic record of good or higher or a high school graduation score of 6.5 or higher. For medicine, the grade 12 academic record must be from excellent or higher or a high school graduation score of 8 or higher.

This is the second year the school has used the admission method based on the results of the Hanoi National University's competency assessment exam. This year, the school has reserved about 17% of its enrollment quota for this method. The school still uses 4 admission methods based on high school graduation exam results, high school transcripts, direct admission, and international English certificates.

In 2023, Hai Duong Medical Technical University plans to enroll 690 students, equivalent to 2022. The majors include nursing, medical laboratory technology, rehabilitation technology, medicine and medical imaging technology.

The school is expected to start accepting applications from May 20.
