This year, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering enrolls 4,000 students (an increase of 200 students compared to 2023), 32 majors and training programs with 5 admission methods. Specifically:

Method 1: Considering the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam. With this method, the school considers admission in all majors and specialties. Combinations with fine art drawing combined with the results of the fine art drawing exam of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, in which fine art drawing is the main exam subject, multiplied by a coefficient of 2.

Method 2: Consider high school transcripts. The school considers admission in all majors and specialties except architecture and planning.

Admission is based on the average score of grades 10, 11 and semester 1 of grade 12 of subjects in the corresponding admission group (applicable to both candidates graduating from high school in 2024 and candidates who graduated from high school before 2024).

Candidates with an international English (French) language certificate equivalent to IELTS 5.0 or higher, or SAT score of 1100/1600, or ACT score of 22/36 (certificates valid as of the admission date) can use it to replace the English (French) subject in the admission combination.

Method 3: Consider the results of the 2024 thinking assessment exam organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology. For this method, the school considers admission in all majors/specializations except for the Architecture and Planning group.

Method 4: Combined admission with international English (French) certificates equivalent to IELTS 5.0 or higher, or SAT score of 1100/1600 or ACT score of 22/36 and results of 2 subjects of the 2024 high school graduation exam (math and 1 non-foreign language subject) in the admission combination. For combinations with fine arts, the 2 admission subjects are math and fine arts, fine arts are organized by the school.

Method 5: Direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the school's project.
