Under the pretext of seeing off a friend after a military recruitment ceremony, a group of young men on motorbikes swerved, weaved, and took over the entire lane going in the opposite direction, leading to a traffic accident.
The accident occurred on the morning of February 13 on the parallel road connecting the Hanoi - Hai Phong and Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressways (now called the Hung Yen - Thai Binh expressway), passing through Tien Lu district (Hung Yen).
According to initial information, in the morning, after many localities organized military handovers and sent off young men to join the army, on the Hung Yen - Thai Binh highway, a line of motorbikes appeared following vehicles carrying soldiers.

Among the convoy, there were many vehicles without license plates, driving on roads that were prohibited for motorbikes. Many young people without helmets lined up side by side, driving in the opposite direction, weaving and swerving.
When arriving at Tien Lu district, a car in the convoy crashed into a motorbike going in the opposite direction, causing 3 young men and a girl to fall onto the road and be injured.
Immediately after the accident, people took the victims to the emergency room, however one young man died.
The local traffic police said that after receiving information about the accident, the team sent officers to the scene, but the identities of the victims have not been determined. So far, the police know that 1 young man died, the remaining 3 victims suffered minor injuries.
