On the morning of March 28, the incense offering ceremony to commemorate the 120th birthday of Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang took place solemnly at the Memorial House in Dong village, Thanh Tung commune, Thanh Mien district (Hai Duong).

Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang (April 2, 1904 - July 20, 1979) was from Dong village, Thanh Tung commune, Thanh Mien district (Hai Duong). Comrade Nguyen Luong Bang participated in revolutionary activities from December 1925, often using the aliases Anh Ca, Sao Do. From the early days of the country's founding, comrade Nguyen Luong Bang was assigned by the Party and State many important missions such as being the first General Director of the National Bank of Vietnam; the first Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam to the Soviet Union; Inspector General of the Government; Head of the Central Inspection Committee.
