This afternoon, General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping and the high-ranking Chinese delegation left Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi, successfully concluding the state visit to Vietnam.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh led the Vietnamese delegation to the airport to see the delegation off.
At VIP Hall A, Noi Bai International Airport, amid a drum performance and dance performance by young women wearing costumes of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh congratulated General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping on his very successful State visit to Vietnam; affirming that the results of the visit have strategic significance, with long-term impacts on the development of relations between the two Parties and two countries, especially in the context that Vietnam and China are both entering a new era, a new era of development.
Once again, General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping expressed his gratitude for the warm and thoughtful reception that the Party, Government and people of Vietnam have given to the delegation. Through the visit, he is more confident that Vietnam will become more prosperous, the people will be happy, and the traditional friendship between China and Vietnam will develop further and last forever.
This is Comrade Xi Jinping's fourth visit to Vietnam as the highest leader of the Party and State of China and the second visit during the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China; taking place during the "Year of Humanitarian Exchange", commemorating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations.
During the visit, General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping held talks and meetings with General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.
During the talks and meetings, the two sides had in-depth discussions on general and strategic issues related to the development direction of relations between the two Parties and two countries, as well as international and regional issues of mutual concern, and together planned a new development roadmap between the two Parties, two countries and peoples.
During the visit, Comrade Xi Jinping also conducted many other important activities such as: Attending the Vietnam - China People's Friendship Meeting and the Red Journey Launch Ceremony; attending the Vietnam - China Railway Cooperation Journey Launch Ceremony...
During this visit, ministries, sectors and localities of the two countries signed 45 cooperation agreements in many fields, demonstrating the rich and comprehensive achievements that both sides achieved during this visit.
The state visit to Vietnam by the General Secretary and President of China is a new milestone in the history of friendly relations between the two Parties, two countries and two peoples, contributing to further deepening the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and promoting the building of the Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future, which has strategic significance in the new period.
